Observing the practices in agriculture of the Ananthasagar Village

Get to know the various problems faced by the farmers
We visited Ananthsagar, Hasanparthy, Warangal, Telangana.

During this interaction we have observed many people working in the field. The physical labour is high. Many farmers are using old equipments which haven’t been updated since decades.

Most workers are suffering from back pain and skin related diseases by the sprinkling of fertilizers in the fields. So we have decided to build a prototype to reduce the physical labour.

There we interacted with 3 different farmers and many labour working in the field and came to know many different problems faced by them.

We have interacted with Mr Pulla Reddy, a farmer in the Ananthasagar Village, detailed his personal difficulties in his agriculture experience.

He explained that majority of the work is in sowing and sprinkling fertilizers. As there is more physical work involved, there is not much labour available. The awareness on the latest equipment used has to be improved. The machines available are expensive. So they cannot afford those sophisticated equipments.
