Rice Transplanter

As a EPICS project, we are interested to solve the transplanting  issue by providing them a machine to reduce the labor and increase the efficiency utilizing our intellect which we acquired through our course.

Our project uses two arms to plant the saplings with the required distance as the front wheel with the reem moves. The aluminum tray placed inclined to the frames allows the gravitational force to drop the saplings themselves to the arms, thereby providing smooth operation in the moment of the arms. The wheels are attached by the means of a rod, only the front wheel doing the job. The front wheel is integrated with two gears with the help of a chain and the arms.

When the transplanter’s tray is loaded with the saplings, the user has to pull the machine towards him so that the thing starts working. Implying the smartness in the agriculture sector.

Urban farming is not only possible, it is crucial. But it can't be like the farming techniques of yore.
